Kenichi Oshima: A professor of environmental economics and energy policy in the Faculty of Policy Science at Ryukoku University and was formerly a visiting research fellow at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), Sussex University. Oshima is a chairperson of the Citizens' Committee on Nuclear Energy and a representative director of the Japan Environmental Council (JEC). His areas of specialty include the political economy of nuclear power and policy analysis of electricity market reform.
Shun'ichi Teranishi: An emeritus professor of Hitotsubashi University. His main field of study is environmental economics and policies. He was the president of the Society for Environmental Economics and Policies (SEEPS) from 2014 to 2016. He is currently president of the Japan Environmental Council (JEC), and also one of chief editors of JEC's quarterly journal, Environment and Pollution published by Iwanami Shoten.
Koryo Suzuki: The chief data scientist responsible for data analysis relating to sustainability at Sustainable Lab Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, and a research fellow at the Green Economics Institute, a UK-based research institute. His research interest is in analysing sustainability with interdisciplinary viewpoints (such as environmental economics, agronomy, and philosophy).
